Protection of criminal victims
During the last 6 months, AWEN has been defending 19 victims of criminal offenses in the District Courts. All cases have experienced crimes of gender-based violence against them and their family members.
During the second week of November 2023, AWEN was part of the Advocacy Week in Brussels, together with partner organizations for women's rights from the Western Balkans, organized by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation.
Advocacy and protection of women's rights were the focus of this week, while meetings were held with EU MEPs and representatives of the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), (European External Action Service) and those of Member States.
The key word of the discussions remains the gender lens approach to the EU integration process.

AWEN was part of the protest organized on March 8 on International Women's Rights Day against social injustices and inequalities.

On December 7, 2022, the presentation activity of the study 'Sexual violence and sexual harassment - An analysis of the situation', carried out by AWEN, took place.
