Protection of criminal victims
During the last 6 months, AWEN has been defending 19 victims of criminal offenses in the District Courts. All cases have experienced crimes of gender-based violence against them and their family members.

AWARENESS CAMPAIGN "PINK RIBBON REMINDS ME"
AWEN-Women's Empowerment Network in Albania joined on March 27, 2024 the awareness campaign, "Pink Ribbon reminds me" of YWCA of Albania. In order to raise the awareness of as many people as possible, that 1 in 8 women are facing breast cancer, a challenge was also decided where AWEN nominated 8 different organizations, some of them members of the network.
International Women's Rights Day
AWEN was part of the protest organized on March 8 on International Women's Rights Day against social injustices and inequalities.
